when my pen doesn't bleed ink I throw it away

So that is a weird title...
but I just thought about it..b/c I've been kind of using the phrase " my pen sits with the cap on..but I want it to bleed ink on to the paper...to write me a song"
I made that quote up and I use it b/c I want to get back to writing my songs. Lately some lines to start a song pop in to my head but it seems like when it comes to mind I'm always doing something else @ that time so I don't stop and write it down.

I hate that b/c I've been so busy and its like saying I really haven't been having time for God. How selfish, right?
I don't want to do that to the one who died for my sins.
I just recently learned this quote that says something like this:
"Jesus love you so much that if you were the only human being on earth He would still have thought it worthwhile to die for you on the cross"

That quote penetrates my heart. It really gets me!!! b/c then is when I realize how much he loves me. How extreme!!!

I've been learning a lot in this book by Corrie Ten Boom
"Amazing Love" & "The Hidding Place"

Corrie is such an amazing writer....you should check her books out....

the 2 I'm reading tell about her journey....her life story
but it just amazes me so much how devoted she was to God. How willing...I want to build a faith like that....one that revolves around God

and it seems to get harder b/c @ skool it seems challenging to be a Christian in front of a teacher....in front of my friends and fellow students has become easy to just be a Christian...but still not sharing just loving....I'm working on sharing my relationship.

The new year is a fresh start

ok so a new year!!!

I love it!! I get to restart. Get to do all the things I said I was going to do last year.

Well I had some struggles in 07 but I plan on making 08 better!!!
This will be my year for so many things....
I hope everyone can have an awesome year as me.

Alright so what have I been up to lately?
ummm...
I spent an awesome Christmas!!!
Getting ready for New Years!!! This year me and my family are spending New Years here in Houston. Usually we would leave the country, to Mexico. To visit my grandma and grandpa. But this year the tradition is breaking. Its sort of a bitter sweet feeling, but I'll deal with it.

Ok so I hope everyone spent an awesome Christmas.

Catching up

Sorry I've been away for such a long time. My computer is broken, so I'm using my sis's laptop. Sucks that I don't have a laptop, but I'm working on it. Maybe soon i will.....

So Christmas was good!!! I got awesome gifts. But Christmas isn't about presents its about Jesus & spending time w/ family!!!! So I spent time with my family and took pics. New Years is coming up and I'm going to take a lot more pics.

I'm falling apart

I just don't know what to do anymore. My world seems to be at its highest point and then something happens. But I see that its b/c I let it happen. I let the enmy get to me. to just be like a open taregt, b/c I don't put my spiritual armor on everyday. There is so many excuses why.
One of which I've noticed is that sometimes I care what people think of me. I seriously thought about it today, how i don't really care what people think about what I wear, but yet I'm scared of what they'll think. How could I be so dumb? They already think I'm weird b/c of they way I dress..so why not give them an actual reason?

So my challenge for myself this week is to not conform!!!
Not just that, but to take a stand. To truly be weird!!!

In th end I will be the one thats happy!! The one sitting on my daddy's lap, telling him about my day.

I love God..with all my heart...b/c He 1st loved me
I enjoy to take photos,write, sing, and rawk out to music!!
I love photography..I think i want to be a photographer..
I also enjoy talking to others,and encouraging them..I hate to see others suffer. I want everyone to be happy..I try to smile @ others no matter whats going on with me. Hard? yea sometimes...but in the end doing that restores my joy =)

My role modesl aren't models or celebrities..they are called BarlowGirl!!
Its a rock Christian all-girl band!! They are so awesome!!
I like Christian music..i love it!!
About 98% of the music I listen to is Christina..I love it..the other 2% is techno or rock...yupp!!
well life is ok..I'm just trying to figure out what my calling is..what should I major in college?
Typical questions for my age..well yea I like life right now
There are just some things that God is taking me through..but I have faith that I will make it to the other side...

ps: I'm thinking about writing a book...my bff gave me the idea..she said that since I journal & write really good..I should write a book about my life.
About what i go though each day, since no one in my family but me is Christian. I think its a good idea..but not really sure..well yea
